Hello!
The best way to lose weight is to combine a good diet with an adequate level of physical activity. It is generally recommended to do at least 1 hour of moderate to high intensity physical activity per day and to do activities that strengthen muscles and bones at least 3 times per week.
Running is a good way to lose weight and strength training helps to build muscle. Strength training can "firm up" your body and make you lose fat, even though it won't necessarily make you lose a lot of weight (muscles are heavy!)
The important thing is to find a combination of physical activities that will stimulate you and give you pleasure
