I have pain in the top of my foot. I think I have extensor tendonitis (I started jumping rope). What should I do to fix the problem?

Hello Ma'am,
The first thing to do is to take rest. To speed up healing, one could also apply Voltaren Emulgel, an anti-inflammatory cream, to the injury.
After about 2 weeks of resting from jumping rope, one can very gradually start jumping again. To solidify the structures of the foot and reduce repetitive impact somewhat, one should also do some running and not just rope.

I also run but I think it all started when I started jumping rope! Is it normal that even when I touch my foot it hurts like I have a bruise!
Thank you so much I'm going to take a little rest 🙃

Yes, the tissues of the foot are so thin that it can feel like a bruise like this. This is especially true if your foot is often compressed in a shoe.
If you see that in two weeks of rest, it doesn't get better, then hop to the physio.
Good evening,
Alexander
