Which syrup to relieve throat pain?

Hello, thank you for your question! Syrups will not be effective in relieving pain (or cough for that matter)
Your best solution is a painkiller, either acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil), if you have no contraindications to taking them. Your pharmacist will be able to tell you the dose to take depending on the product you choose and your preferences.
Also, lozenges can offer local relief, such as Halls, Ricola or Fisherman's Friend. I like these because they do not contain sugar
