I have had occasional insomnia since the beginning of my menopause 5 years ago. What can I do to help me sleep?

Insomnia since I've been menopausal for 5 years, only medication prescribed at the moment rosuvastatin which I've been taking for 16 days. Looking for something to relieve me occasionally.

Hello!

Hormonal disturbances such as the onset of menopause may be the cause of your insomnia.

I advise you some little tricks to help you fall asleep:
Avoid caffeine after 4pm;
Do sports regularly;
Have a sufficient intake of magnesium;
Banish screens before bedtime and in the bedroom;
Sleep in complete darkness.

for pharmaceutical products, magnesium can help you relax and sleep, natural health products such as valerian and passionflower (see interaction with drugs you use). If you need more details I invite you to call me at the pharmacy and we will choose together the product that suits you best
