How long does it take to heal a mild sprain? I was able to walk a little the next day, is that a good sign?

Hello, there are several grades to a sprain. It can take 2 to 4 weeks in mild cases
Ideally, you should not put any weight on it and be at rest for the first 72 hours
After that, it is best to consult specialists such as physio and chiro.
Otherwise you can read more about the PEACE and love method for sprains.
Have a good evening

Hello,
Thank you very much for your quick answer
Do I have to have crutches? I did not go to see the doctor because the wait is endless and I did not manage to get an appointment
Also, after the first 72 hours, can I start walking?
Waiting to hear from you,
Have a nice day!

You could see a physio in the peace and love method, they suggest a resumption of walking if it doesn't create any swelling or dlr. You have to go gradually. Use crutches if the swelling intensifies when walking, especially for long periods
