I think I had a reaction to the sweat I got during my workouts (red spots/plaques). What should I do?

I have taken benadryl, hydrocortisone but nothing goes away. How do I treat it?

Hello,
It's entirely possible to react to sweat during a workout. Sometimes it can just be an irritation. Sweat is very salty and dries out the skin. If you combine that with the rubbing of clothing, it can actually make patches.
The basic treatment is to moisturize the affected area regularly. When it's very red you can also put cortisone (which you did).
On the other hand, it is also possible that the moisture has encouraged fungus to grow. If the cortisone doesn't work, I would tend to use Canesten in addition to it at a rate of one application twice a day for 10-14 days. If it is very itchy, you can continue to apply hydrocortisone 1% twice a day at the same time for relief. Also using a good moisturizer regularly is very important.

Hello,
thank you so much for your reply. Should I not train until it's gone?

Hello, I have another question. How do I know that it is rendered mushrooms? By color, texture, etc? A huge thank you.

You can continue to train without any problems.
it can be difficult in some cases to tell the difference between an irritation and a fungus. In general, a fungus is a rather circular patch that spreads over time. It may be redder around the edges and pinker in the center, but it doesn't look like that in all cases. Sometimes there may be crusting and/or pustules.
Skin irritation normally responds well to cortisone if it is applied often enough. When cortisone doesn't work, you can treat it as if it were a fungus right away. If this too is ineffective, medical attention will be needed.
