Are there alternatives that we can eat or drink when we have sugar cravings to satisfy that craving?

Hi, I have a sweet tooth and have always had trouble losing weight. When we try to lose weight, we have the impression that we have to eat less and that we have to do without your little sweets at the end of the meal. However, I believe that it is still possible to lose weight through our diet and without depriving ourselves of sweets! I tend to restrict myself from eating foods high in glucose, and then binge on them 2 days later. So, I believe that restricting and banning sugar is not an adequate diet strategy for me.
