Does shingles have other symptoms besides plaques?

22-year-old woman3 years ago
Hello, for the last 4 days I have had a rather large plaque on the underside of my right breast. I went to the pharmacy earlier to get some canestan while it was a fungal infection but a little voice inside me told me to ask the pharmacist's opinion first, which I did! When I showed her my plaque, without hesitation, she told me right away that it must be shingles. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and I have to admit that it stresses me out a bit. I know that it is not dangerous for the baby and that they don't give anti-viral drugs for more than 3 days On the other hand To accompany my plaque I also have a pain in my right armpit permanently but it is not sensitive to the touch, not swollen and not red I also have a strong migraine and a stiff neck that goes down to the middle of my back which makes it difficult for me to walk since each step I take the blow that my heel gives to the ground seizes me with pain in my back. I don't know if it's clear hahaha My migraine gives me nausea and even prevents me from eating, which is not ideal when you make a human. Do you have any tips for me while waiting to see the doctor. thank you very much and sorry for the novel

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question! For your neck and armpit pain and migraine, your best solution remains acetaminophen (Tylenol and other companies).
Migraines can often be accompanied by nausea, and if you currently have nothing for that, your pharmacist.will be able to prescribe an effective and safe product during pregnancy.
Hopefully, this has helped you, so please don't hesitate if you have any further questions!
