There is a product in Schedule 2, which means you have to see the pharmacist before you get it, that is in the same family as pantoprazole. It is called omeprazole (Olex). Without a prescription, the pharmacist can give it to you for 14 days. This is probably the best alternative you have without a prescription.

It all depends on what you mean by "on the shelf." If you mean without a prescription, then yes, there is the Olex.
