What to do if my Evra patch falls off?

I have a hormones patch call Evra, and two weeks ago it kinda fell through the middle pf the week and put another one, but now ive been having my periods for two weeks and a half, and really intense. I gotta say i’ve been under a lot of stress too. What should I do? Is this normal? Is there anything I can do except for putting new patches?

Hello, and thank you for your question. This is indeed an unpleasant situation. However, the situation you described (The patch becoming undone and you having to replace it) can cause spotting, bleeding, and/or your cycle becoming a bit topsy turvy. So can stress! Your best solution is to continue applying the patches as prescribed. I would also suggest not doing your fourth week without a patch: After the three patches are done, start a new pack right away. Your situation should go back to normal, but bear in mind that in the worst cases it could take a few cycles. I hope I've been helpful.
