Is it true that if I take Syntroid, I can't eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice?

Hello Ma'am,
Many drugs can interact with grapefruit (or its juice, or other citrus fruits like Seville orange, etc.), but Synthroid is not one of them. We see more interactions with medications for the treatment of cholesterol, high blood pressure, antibiotics, etc.
However, with Synthroid, it is usually recommended that you take it in the morning on an empty stomach, to avoid interaction with food, especially dairy (calcium) and iron, which could decrease the absorption of the drug in your body. Some people, in consultation with their pharmacist or physician, may have decided to take Synthoid at another time (e.g. at breakfast). If you are unsure of when to take Synthoid in your situation, you can contact your pharmacy. Ultimately, the most important thing is to take your tablet in the "same way" (always with a meal with similar ingredients or always on an empty stomach) regularly at the same time.
I hope I've answered your question.
