I am taking medication for anxiety, can I smoke pot?

I am a person with an anxiety disorder who is medicated, I also have a parent who is schizophrenic Thank you very much my question was more in the angle of if I am at risk of psychosis or schizophrenia

Hello Sir, Still little is known about the concomitant use of cannabis and certain anti-psychotics or in the presence of certain health conditions. The effects and interactions are still not well known. It is even possible that cannabis use may increase anxiety or certain symptoms in some people... To this effect, I cannot recommend it. If, however, you wish to continue on this path, I strongly suggest that you inform your doctor and those around you, if only as a precaution. If you notice any side effects such as increased drowsiness, dizziness, anxiety or anything else, I suggest that you stop taking the product immediately.
