I have been trying to conceive for 1 year?

34-year-old woman3 years ago
Hello. I have been trying to conceive with my partner for 1 year. For 2 months I have been doing ovulation tests. I have noticed that my cycles are 26 days long and I ovulate between d19 and d21. I have my period between 7 to 5 days after ovulation. How do I do this?

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
Usually, ovulation occurs 10-14 days before the first day of your period. That said, if your cycle is 26 days long, ovulation would theoretically occur between the 12th and 16th day of your cycle
It is possible that your ovulation test will tell you otherwise, however, in exceptional cases... However, I would be surprised if menstruation occurs only 5 days after ovulation
If in doubt, I invite you to contact your pharmacist who can review with you the choice and use of the ovulation test
I hope that I have been helpful to you, and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions
