Can I take CBD with my antidepressants?

46-year-old woman3 years ago
Hello ! Since I've been back to work I sometimes have insomnia. A friend told me about CBD to help me sleep. However, I take medication: Citalopram, amitriptyline 50 mg and candesartan 8 mg.

Hello, thank you for your question!
I don't see a problem with trying this product, in addition to the others you are taking.
However, since some of the medications you are already taking can cause drowsiness, it will be prudent to start CBD oil at the lowest dose possible, and stop it immediately if you experience any unusual side effects. If you want to increase the dose, do so at fairly large intervals, such as every 7 to 10 days
It's also important to know that we don't yet know much about the long-term effects of CBD, so I suggest you avoid chronic and/or long-term use.
I hope I've been helpful, and I'm available if you have any other questions!
