I just finished a 4 week cycle of Alesse, am I protected during my week off?

Hello, my doctor told me that I could try to take my pill continuously but to test before doing longer and longer cycles.

If you have been taking Alesse regularly and have not missed any days in a row, yes, you are "protected" during the interruption period if it does not exceed 7 days.
