I am pregnant and I think I have varicose veins?

I am pregnant (second pregnancy) and have non-painful varicose veins. I just noticed this over my varicose veins on my legs. I just noticed this below my knee on the back of my leg. What is this? A bruise or a burst varicose vein?

Thank you for your question, but it is practically impossible to make a decision without first seeing the lesions you are referring to, which is impossible here. I therefore recommend that you go to a pharmacy to show the lesions
The pharmacist on duty will be able to direct you to the right product based on his or her observations, or to recommend a medical consultation if he or she deems it necessary.
I'm sorry I can't be more helpful at this time.
That being said, if it is varicose veins, the best 'treatment' is to wear compression stockings to help the 'blood return', which can be a bit affected in pregnant women. These stockings are available in pharmacies without a prescription, and your pharmacist will be able to help you choose a model for you, with advice on how to use them.
