I just received the COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer) when I was planning a pregnancy. How long should I wait before I get pregnant and how long?

Hello,
According to the February 2021 INSPQ advisory; there is still little data on the efficacy or safety of mRNA vaccines in women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, as they have been excluded from clinical studies.
Vaccination is not contraindicated in women who wish to become pregnant, especially in the event that they are at risk of developing serious complications should they become infected with COVID-19 (e.g., greater risk of contact with the virus for health care workers). Some committees suggest that women wait at least 28 days after completing the COVID-19 vaccination (such as the National Advisory Committee on Immunization), while others (such as the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the CIQ) simply recommend that women discuss the risks and benefits of delaying pregnancy and proceeding with the COVID-19 vaccination with their physician. So it's case by case and your doctor will be able to present you with the risks/benefits based on your health profile.
I hope I've answered your question.
