Hello, I just noticed that I have white seeds in the shape of a sesame seed when I have a bowel movement? Is this normal?

I have had a stool analysis done and everything came back negative as I have had diarrhea in my stool for 4 months now and I am waiting for a colonoscopy.

Hello Ma'am,
White spots in the stool can be caused by a lot of different things!
Did these "white seeds" appear after your stool analysis? If so, it would be best to talk to your doctor.
In general, the spots may simply be small pieces of undigested food or may be a sign of another problem that needs further investigation. In your case, since it has been 4 months since you had diarrhea, I would suggest that you discuss this with your doctor at your next follow-up. Indeed, the colonoscopy may shed more light on your condition.
Do not hesitate to contact me with any additional questions.
Happy day,
