My 9 month old daughter seems to have conjunctivitis, what should I do? I have been cleaning her eye 3 times a day for 3 days now but it is getting worse?

Hello,
Bacterial conjunctivitis typically manifests itself by purulent secretions that are especially crusty in the morning. A diffuse redness of the white of the eye is also possible with a sensation of irritation. If this is the case, an antibiotic treatment with Polysporin eye drops is recommended for 1 week. They can be obtained behind the counter at the pharmacy. Warm compresses for 15 minutes at the same time as cleaning 3 times a day can also help relieve discomfort. If despite this treatment, there is no improvement in a few days or the situation worsens, you should consult a doctor.
Hopefully this answers your question,
