What do I do if I absolutely want to have surgery? What are the possible steps to take?

I have been a daycare worker for 3 years. Since then, I have been sick all the time. Colds, flu, bronchitis, viral gastroenteritis, etc... each time (or almost), these illnesses end up creating tonsillitis. So I find myself constantly at the doctor's, missing work, medications, etc. I would like to have an operation. At my last appointment, I was told that I had to have at least 4 per year. Last year I had 4, one of which I couldn't go to the doctor (so not in the system). I absolutely want to have surgery to remove my tonsils due to too many tonsillitis.
