I want to know if it's normal to ovulate 3 days before my period and if I can still get pregnant

I am currently trying for a baby. I have been ovulating for 2 cycles (I have a positive ovulation test) and my period starts 3 days after the positive ovulation test.

Hello Mrs,
Generally, ovulation occurs 10 to 14 days before menstruation.
What test do you use, and how?
Did you notice this before the last 2 cycles?
Are you taking any other medication?

Ovulation test that I urinate on. No, I didn't notice because I only started ovulation testing during my previous 2 cycles. I'm sure I'm ovulating because I have cervical mucus, some mild pinching on either my right or left side and some other symptoms. I'm taking medication for my thyroid gland but it's under control, I had blood tests this week and everything is ok.

Thanks for the feedback.
If you know the length of your cycle (e.g. 24 days), I suggest you check with these tests between days 10 and 14 to see if you see the peak indicating ovulation at that time.
Otherwise, if the situation persists for more than 6 months or worsens or is accompanied by other symptoms such as bleeding, pain or other, I believe that a consultation with your doctor will be necessary.
I will remain available if you have any further questions!
