Hello,
If it is a small, rough, well-defined bump, it is probably a wart. If you are in doubt, I suggest you take a clear picture and show it to your pharmacist who will give you his opinion.
Depending on your daughter's age, warts can be treated with salicylic acid-based products from a pharmacy. These treatments can last several weeks to get rid of the wart. Note that they are contraindicated for people with diabetes.
Another option is cryotherapy. This involves burning the wart with liquid nitrogen. A doctor can do it as well as some nurses practicing in certain pharmacies if they have the equipment on site.
Other over-the-counter products that involve freezing the wart are very rarely effective.
