Can I drink alcohol with my medication?

Hi, I have strep throat and I was prescribed apo clarithromycin 250mg for 10 days and 200 pharixia & lidodan 2% to gargle. In 3 days I have my Christmas party and I was wondering if I could still have alcohol? I take venlafaxine (112.5 mg) and linessa as a contraceptive

Good morning, ma'am,

It is usually recommended to avoid alcohol with many of your treatments. However, the occasional drink should not be a problem.
