Is Valacyclovir a photosensitizing drug, if so about how long after taking these 2000mg 12h after 2000mg?

Hello, I have a laser hair removal treatment in 6 weeks, I was wondering if I take my Valtrex how long I should wait before my treatment, so I can reschedule my appointment if needed!?

Hello ma'am, this is an adverse reaction reported by the manufacturer in the monograph.

There is no clear recommendation on this but I believe that one week after treatment should be OK for you :)
