Does the covid 19 vaccination decrease my risk of getting covid and would it make me covid negative faster if I get it?

Hello I am a person with no health problems. I would like to reduce my risk of getting covid 19. I have 2 questions: -Does getting vaccinated decrease my risk of getting covid19 even if it does not decrease it 100%? -Could the vaccination allow me, in case I get covid19, to be negative to a covid test more quickly than if I don't get vaccinated?

Good morning, ma'am,
Vaccination against COVID reduces the risk of developing severe COVID disease and, in particular, reduces the risk of hospitalization. It is possible that vaccination may help reduce transmission but this has not been proven beyond doubt, this is not the recognized indication for this vaccine.
Therefore, it cannot be established that vaccination will result in a negative result if you have indeed been infected.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
