Is the shingles vaccine right for me if I am not yet 50 years old?

I am a 39 year old woman. I am taking a biologic (Idacio) for ankylosing spondylitis and ulcerative colitis. I am also taking Metformin for residual glucose intolerance from my pregnancy diabetes.
I had chicken pox when I was young. I wonder if the shingles vaccine would protect me more. Also, I want to have another pregnancy.

Thank you for your question!
the Quebec immunization committee recommends that the shingles vaccine be given to anyone 18 years of age or older who is immunocompromised (taking adalimumab).
For more information, I recommend that you talk to your doctor, nurse or pharmacist if they are trained to vaccinate, to assess your options.
