How long do I have to wait to get the COVID vaccine if I have shingles?

on february 1 I got shingles How long after I take the vaccine can I take it? After taking the antivirals, should I take something to boost my system? Thank you so much!!!

Hello ma'am, thank you for your questions! No need to wait to receive the vaccine. If you are well enough to travel and receive it, no problem :) For your second question, antivirals do not lower your immune system. Nor is there any supplement that can help "boost" it. The usual non-pharmacological measures are sufficient: eating lots of fruits and vegetables, exercising regularly, having good stress management and getting enough sleep are to be encouraged.
