Can a vaccine change the appearance and smell of stools?

31-year-old woman3 years ago
Hello, my baby had his vaccines two days ago. Since yesterday, his stools are smelly (sulfur smell). He has stools 2 to 4 times a day and the color is yellow-orange, as usual. Only once, yesterday, a poop was greenish. Can the vaccine cause odor during digestion (vaccine received by mouth)? If not, what can cause the smell? Thank you!

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
The administration of a vaccine can cause what you are reporting, it is not abnormal
If your baby's general condition is good, and he is feeding almost as usual, you don't need to worry. If it is secondary to the vaccine, the situation should quickly return to normal
I hope I've reassured you, and I'm available if you have any other questions!
