Unfortunately, I found references indicating a risk of contagiousness as early as one day after you became infected. So it is possible that you were contagious yesterday. It would be appropriate at this point to report your test here, and to notify your potential contacts, in order to limit the risk as much as possible.

There are more and more reports discussing the infection of pets with COVID through close contact, so yes it is possible.
