Can the COVID vaccine cause a positive test?

The main purpose of the vaccine is not to prevent an infection but to reduce the risk of complications related to the infection.

A positive test does not necessarily mean that you will have symptoms. Many people do not have symptoms or have mild symptoms.

I suggest staying away from others and in isolation for the next 5 days, as per current recommendations.
