Can the covid vaccine cause my period to stop? And does the absence of menstruation mean infertility?

Hello, I am a perfectly healthy woman, I am 30 years old and I had a baby in February 2021. I had a return of normal menstruation until August when I had a period every two weeks despite the contraception and since 3 months no more period and I am not pregnant.

Hello Ma'am,
Yes, there does appear to be a link in some women between COVID vaccination and a disruption in menstruation. That said, there is no indication today that this could result in reduced fertility.
What contraception are you taking exactly? And when was your last negative pregnancy test?

I have been taking movisse since I gave birth. My last test was last week and I have done at least 5 at different times!

Thank you for the information.
Movisse™ is indeed one of the pills most often affected by the effect of the vaccine on the menstrual cycle.
In this case, I believe that one can, for the time being, stop taking pregnancy tests and concentrate on taking the birth control pill. If we see that the period is not back in the next 2 months, we will have to go to a doctor (that would be very surprising).
