Is the use of suppositories allowed after the surgery I had?

Hello, I am post-op for an inguinal hernia dated May 11 by laparoscopy abdo. I am currently constipated, even with colace and senokot prescribed.

There is no problem with using these kinds of suppositories even after surgery
As for Colace and Senokot, there are other alternatives by mouth if you prefer, probably more effective.
