What tylenol should I give my 9 month old who weighs 24lbs? The infant one? Should I increase the amount or the infant one?

My boy weighs 24lbs and I have infant tylenol at home that goes up to 23lbs. It doesn't seem to have the desired effect anymore. I give him 1.5ml. Should I give a larger amount or increase to the children's tylenol? Or just continue with this dose? I am giving since he is suffering a lot from teething.

Hello Ma'am,
We can continue with the infant Tylenol™, but we'll give her a little more. This product contains 80mg per 1 mL. You need to give a dose of 15mg per kilo (weight).
A 24lb child weighs 10.9 kilo, so you need to give him 163mg per dose. So this results in a dose of 2 mL per dose (not 1.5 mL).
:)
