I am taking oxycodone and rosuvastatin as medications, could this be the cause?

Hello Sir,
It would be very surprising if your medications were the cause. Most of the time, in a situation like this, we should proceed as follows:
  • Start by consulting your dentist to make sure that the odor is not coming from your mouth (a bad tooth for example);
  • Stop smoking if you smoke!"
  • Prevent your mouth from becoming too dry. Indeed, if your mouth is dry (as due to excessive washing with mouthwash), it is more likely that bacteria will grow and cause bad breath.
  • Look at the digestion side. Indeed, when the mouth is not at fault, we sometimes realize that the smell comes from "lower". In the latter case, there are few options available to us. So let's look at eliminating the above-mentioned causes.
At your pleasure,
Alexandre Chagnon, pharmacist
