Can a younger child be given Tylenol at age 2?

Does the 160/5 mg concentration work for a 6kg baby? I work in a daycare center, and we need 1 concentration for all of them. Does the 160/5ml work for a 6kg baby?

Hello Ma'am,
Yes, regardless of the concentration of the product or the age listed on the package, the dose of acetaminophen is given according to the child's weight at 10 to 15 mg of medication per kg of the child's weight every 4 to 6 hours for a maximum of 5 times in a 24-hour period.
If needed, you can contact your local pharmacist for the volume to be given based on the weight of the individual and the concentration of the product on hand.
I hope this has been helpful and remain available if you have any further questions!
