Fifth disease. Can I treat this kind of rash? Or will it go away on its own?

Hello, my 1 year old daughter is currently suffering from the fifth disease. I find that the rash on her arms is starting to swell and become very hot. Is this normal? Can I put something on it?

Hello Ma'am, How long has she had her first symptoms? Know that, as described in this document (http://www.urgencehsj.ca/wp-content/uploads/cours.pdf), the patches and redness are increased by exposure to heat or sun. If she has been exposed to the sun or heat lately, I would tend not to put anything on it (except ice that has been covered with a soft line for 10 minutes every hour), and instead avoid exposure to these elements.
