How to treat acne?

25-year-old woman3 years ago
I have a lot more pimples (acne) on my face for the past few weeks, especially on my jawline and cheeks. My skin also has a lot of surface textures, i.e. whiteheads that are very visible in the sun. I would like to make an appointment with my dermatologist but he is not available until November How can I treat this problem? Who should I consult if my dermatologist is not available?

Hello, thank you for your question!
Most medications to treat acne are topical: creams, lotions, gels... And can be prescribed by a family doctor
There are benzoyl peroxide-based gels available without a prescription in pharmacies that are also effective. Your pharmacist will be able to tell you the dosage according to the product chosen.
I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!
