What treatments are available for hypertrophic or cheloidal cesarean scars?

Hello. I have a cesarean scar 9 months postpartum. It's getting redder and redder and it's also getting bigger. It is also starting to sting. Are there any dressings that you can put on top of it that will help it heal like (epitact in Frnace). I am currently using Cicaplast-Roche Posay cream.

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
The cream you are using, or any other fragrance-free cream, can be applied to the area to help reduce the appearance of the scar. Other products exist such as Dermatix cream which is silicone based and available without prescription
The important thing is to be consistent in applying the chosen cream 2-3 times a day. The skin takes a long time to heal so we suggest several weeks to months. It is also important to protect the skin from the sun if it is exposed.
I hope this helps and I am available if you have any other questions!
