My 3 year old daughter was treated with amoxiline for the onset of pneumonia 10 days ago. She did not have a fever at the time of diagnosis and only had a cough. She has not had a fever since.

The cough had completely disappeared. That's what I find curious. She is indeed a little congested, but not runny from her nose. I put nasonex, baby rub and gave her helixia for the night. I'm mostly worried if it's a sign that it's not cured as the cough has returned. I give him regular nasal douches.

The cough is often the last symptom to go away, even after the infection has healed. I am reassured that there are no other symptoms, including fever.
You seem to be doing what is recommended already, including nasal douches. The cough is often secondary to secretions coming down the back of the throat.
