Hello, since the beginning of winter I have eczema on my face. I have tried a few creams that have been recommended to me, but nothing has changed, and it's getting worse and worse! Do you have any tips or treatments to recommend to me to solve this problem?
thank you

Thanks for the feedback.
The basis of treatment is hydration of the area and other non-pharmacological measures:
  • A fragrance-free moisturizer such as Aveeno, Cutibase, Base Glaxal, Cerave and others should be applied as often as needed. The cream should be applied whenever the need to scratch or irritation is felt, among others. It should also be applied before and after going out as well. There is no maximum number of applications per day.
  • Avoid any soap on the face. After a bath or shower, avoid vigorous rubbing: instead, lightly pat the skin to leave a thin layer of moisture, then apply the moisturizer within 5 minutes of getting out of the bath.
  • In winter, make sure to protect your skin (scarf, neck warmer, etc.) and always protect your skin from the sun with a physical screen or a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.
  • Finally, avoid all potentially irritating products such as makeup and exfoliants.
If non-pharmacological measures are insufficient, you should consult a physician for a thorough evaluation of your needs.
I hope that I have been helpful to you and remain available if you have any further questions!
