Vaginitis treatment that doesn't work

29-year-old woman4 years ago
On December 31 in the evening I made a treatment against what I believe to be a vaginitis I took the canesten in cream to 1 application. It is not my first vaginitis and the symptoms are: itching, vaginal loss, heating at the level of the vulva. Since December 31 I put the external cream morning and evening, I do not have any more loss and the itching decreased, but are still present on all the external part of the vulva... I feel that it is irritated or that there is an inflammation. No pain when I urinate... should I do a treatment again? Or try something else?

Hello. Sometimes a longer treatment may be required. Although Canesten 1, 3 and 6 are theoretically all equally effective, it would be relevant to consider form 6: the 1% cream is less irritating than form 3 or the Canesten 1 ovule
and using the cream externally twice a day for the same period of time. If you do not notice any reduction in symptoms after 3 days, or if they reappear after the treatment, it would be recommended to consult a physician
recommended to consult a doctor. Hope this helps, don't hesitate if you have any questions.
