does the treatment cause insomnia or is it just her prurigo? is the treatment enough? other treatment to relieve the itching?

Hello, my 15 month old daughter had chicken pox in mid December. Afterwards, her chicken pox ended around the beginning of January and she was also diagnosed with prurigo. She has a treatment of desloratadine 1,5mg/d orally and mupirocin 2% ointment 2x/d. I find that she still wakes up screaming because it looks like she is still very itchy.
