My child has a fever and is holding his ear, can I give him Polysporin in his ears?

My 2.5 year old has had pink eye in the last few days. Now he has ear infections and T°38.1 rectal I treated the conjunctivitis with polysporin in drops without consultation. Can I do the same for a possible ear infection? Thank you very much for your answer

Thank you for your question! Polysporin is not a preferred option in this case.
