Is my secretions and cough related to my heartburn?

I have heartburn and I take dexilant or lansoprasol but for a few days I have stomach pain when I take a deep breath.

Hello ma'am, if I may confirm that I understand correctly, have you been reporting secretions and coughing for the past 8 months?

Have these symptoms improved a bit with Dexilant or lansoprazole?

The cough is less bad but still secretions but it is especially when I take big breaths that make me hurt in the stomach and I have rustling I take lansoprazol thank you

Do you have any other symptoms such as a runny or blocked nose, sneezing, etc.? Let me explain: the cough could also be caused by sinus drainage from the back of the throat. In this regard, nasal hygiene with saline solution and/or trying an anti-histamine such as Aerius or Claritin could perhaps be beneficial, in addition to lansoprazole.

If you want to try this, we could get an idea of how effective this is after 7 days. As for the pain on deep breaths though, that is impossible to address on this platform. If it persists, I would advise to consult, if only as a precaution...
