Hello there!
First, a few questions to better answer you 😊
  1. What trimester are you in with your pregnancy?
  2. Do you have a fever or other symptoms associated with coughing?
  3. How long have you been coughing?
Sometimes the baby, especially in the third trimester, can be positioned in such a way that it compresses the diaphragm (the muscle that allows your lungs to expand). This can lead to mild breathing difficulty or coughing.
So, coughing, whether in pregnancy or not, can be caused by several things. Is there anything else you think might be causing the cough in your case (asthma, virus, throat irritation, acid reflux, nausea, etc)?
