I took fluoxetine 10mg for 2 weeks then increased to 20mg 2 weeks ago. Why do I still have daily anxiety attacks? meds not working?

It may take up to 6 to 8 weeks before we see the first effects of fluoxetine. Also, 20mg is often not enough of a dose to get the full response, so if you feel like it is not sufficient in 2 weeks, simply call you pharmacist for him to be able to contact your doctor and raise your dose.
