I have tightness, cravings and milk flow, etc. since the chances of getting pregnant are slim, what could it be?

Hello, for a few days I have been feeling tightness in my belly at the level of my uterus, bloating, hunger pangs and milk flowing from my breasts. I am not late with my period, my tests are negative and I have a sterilet.

My period is not late, I have a sterilet and I took a pregnancy test as a precaution which is negative (symptoms: tugging in the uterus, bloating, hunger pangs, milk flowing from the breasts). I already have two children, one 2 years old and one 10 months old. I have not been breastfeeding since June 2022. I had a radioactive iodine treatment in August and I take syntroid

Hello ma'am, since you have not been breastfeeding for several months, if the milk flow persists, I believe that this situation requires a medical evaluation as a precaution.
Otherwise, when did you first notice this?

about 1 week, my period is now 4 days late, only a little spotting without more.

Thanks for the feedback. A 4 day delay does not necessarily indicate an issue, but as a precautionary measure, the milk flow should be evaluated if it persists.
Sincerely,

Thanks for the information, I'm sorry for the delay in my response, I hadn't seen the notification!
Yes, it is possible, but you have to make sure there is not an underlying problem :)
