Is it possible to advance the hormone-free period of a contraceptive?

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to anticipate your period. I have been taking the Yaz pill for years and I am still very stable. However, I have a trip planned and I would like to be able to start earlier and end earlier in any unbalance my cycle (for example by taking continuously it does not work for me). Do you think that taking my "flour" pills earlier (e.g. 2-3 days) and restarting my pills earlier would work? Usually my period is Monday to Saturday and I would like Thursday to be over hahaha thanks!!!

Hello, ma'am!
What you are suggesting is a possibility (stop taking 'active' pills), but it might not work after one time: your body might need time to adjust. That being said, there is no way to predict if your bleeding will stop when you want it to, unfortunately :(
Finally, if you are taking Yaz for contraception, if you stop it for more than 7 days, when you start it again, it will not be effective for the first 7 days.

And if I stop it for 5 days as usual but I simply anticipate the stop but also anticipate the start again will it be ineffective for a few days as well?

If you have been taking the contraceptive regularly for at least 3 weeks, and the period of discontinuation is less than 7 days, no problem.
If you have not taken the contraceptive (the active tablets) for at least 3 weeks, this could theoretically decrease its effectiveness

Perfect, I have been taking these tablets for several years

I meant the active tablets must have been taken for at least 21 days in a row.
