But this watery texture for almost two months, is it normal or is it a sign of another milk intolerance?

Hello! Since birth my son had clear signs of intolerance or allergy to his milk. We finally came across Nutramigen in concentrate, which was prescribed to us at 1 month of age. It was a miracle! No more pain, wriggling, crying, mucus in the stool. A little more reflux, but it doesn't bother the little one. My problem is with the texture of the stool. It's water. His poop is watery like water at all times, with nothing "solid" for almost two months. He does 1-2 per 24-36hrs but they are explosive every time. He is gaining weight well (and then some), wets at least 6-8 diapers a day, sleeps well and has wonderful waking periods.

Hello Mrs., thank you for your question!
I am very reassured that you report a good general condition and that your child is eating well. Keep in mind that your child is only consuming liquids, so his stools will not be very consistent.
Are you partially breastfeeding or is your child only receiving formula?

Hello,
My son is only receiving the hypoallergenic formula (Nutramigen concentrate).
It should be noted that his stools had a normal consistency when he was taking other non-hypoallergenic formulas, but that they contained a lot of mucus.

Thank you for the information, I'm sorry for the delay in my reply, I hadn't seen the notification!
Diarrhea or loose stools is common with Nutramigen according to the moms I have served this product to. In most cases, a change in formula solved the problem. I strongly encourage you to consult a doctor to determine if your little one suffers from an intolerance or an allergy.
Sincerely,
