Can I take my temperature after administering tylenols or will it be distorted?

My 4 month old baby is congested and coughing a little, I gave tylenols, but I didn't think to take the temperature before.

Hello Ma'am,
In fact, the result will be skewed if the temperature is taken within 6 hours of the Tylenol™ administration.
That said, it's not a big deal, you can just wait 6 hours before taking it.

Note that if the fever lasts longer than 24 hours in a child of this age, medical attention should be considered.

Okay, thanks for the reply! She wasn't running a temperature, I checked again yesterday and she wasn't and this morning either! I'm still checking to make sure though! And since I already have you, is it ok to give Benadril under 2 (When introducing food it would make me feel better to have some on hand)

Yes, it can be given. The dose of 1 mg per kilogram (maximum 25 mg) will be given.

Perfect, thank you! However, since it's in ml (the liquid) how much does it give in ml approximately?

If it is the child's solution (e.g., https://www.jeancoutu.com/magasiner/produit/benadryl-liquide-pour-enfants-250-ml-gomme-a-bulles/665854/) then give a dose of 1.25 mL per kilogram. :)
